Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Recruit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Who can use Recruit

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you're under 18, you should have parental awareness of your account.
• One account per person. Parent/family accounts (when launched) may have multiple linked players.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another player, coach, or institution.
• Send harassing, threatening, or illegal communications via outreach drafts you generate.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our database (program data, benchmarks, etc.) without written permission.
• Attempt to bypass AI usage limits or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Upload viruses, exploit security flaws, or otherwise abuse the service.

Your content

You own everything you submit — profile, metrics, notes, drafts. You grant us a limited license to process and display that content within the service for the purpose of running Recruit. We don't claim ownership of your data and we don't sell it.

AI-generated content

AI recommendations and outreach drafts are generated by large language models. They can be wrong. We design the system to ground every output in your real data, but you are responsible for reviewing AI output before acting on it — especially before sending an email to a coach.

We never auto-send messages. Every draft must be manually copied or sent by you.

No guarantee of recruiting outcomes

Recruit is a tool, not a recruiting service. We do not negotiate with coaches on your behalf, place you with programs, or guarantee scholarships, offers, or roster spots. Recruiting outcomes depend on your work, your ability, and many factors outside of this platform.

Service availability

We do our best to keep Recruit running 24/7 but we don't guarantee uptime. Planned maintenance may cause brief outages. We're not liable for any indirect damages from downtime or data loss (though we maintain backups via Supabase).

Payments (when launched)

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds at our discretion within 14 days of charge.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime by emailing us at team@kaifect.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders 14 days before taking effect.
